(SQAUK) — Due to severe weather, the Pohoda Festival, a major annual music event in Trenčín, Slovakia, was unexpectedly canceled on Friday evening. A sudden storm caught concertgoers off guard, resulting in twelve reported injuries and leaving the festival grounds in disarray.
The unexpected events started with a rapidly intensifying weather system that brought heavy rains, strong winds, and lightning to the festival site. According to local meteorological reports, the storm developed quickly, giving little warning to those present.
