(SQAUK) — Several voters in White Settlement, Texas, are raising alarm after experiencing an unsettling discrepancy during the 2024 presidential election. After voting for president on the electronic system and verifying their choice on the screen, many discovered that the printed paper ballot did not match their selection. One frustrated voter explained, “I voted for one president. I checked it on the video screen when I got the paper ballot, and it had the other candidate’s name on it. Check your ballots, everybody.”
This concern led to additional complaints from other voters. One man, who had to wait 45 minutes to cast his vote, reported overhearing two other people expressing their frustration about the machines changing their votes. While the problem seems to be isolated, it has raised concerns among some voters about the integrity of the electronic voting systems.
