(SQAUK) BUTLER COUNTY, Penn — On July 13, 2024, an eyewitness interviewed by Fox 32 Chicago claimed to have seen several men in camouflage uniforms behind the bleachers, about 15 feet away. The witness stated that at least one of the men discharged their weapon, as evidenced by the smoking gun barrel, during an attack targeting former President Donald Trump at his Butler Farm Show.
The man heard what sounded like a firecracker behind him, so he turned around and saw men wearing camouflage, one of whom had a smoking gun. Although the eyewitness heard shots, he didn’t see what the man in camo was aiming at when he opened fire, but he assumed that the men were on the same side, possibly the good guys.
“At the time we thought they were coming at us,” he explained. “But it happened to be our guys shooting back at him.”
“So, everyone was freaking out thinking we were going to get shot, but they were actually protecting us–shooting the shooter,” the man said.
Interestingly, the man also commented that someone in the crowd who was shot may have had a gun and was possibly killed by the Secret Service.
